Ecogate Project at Brentwood Corp. Gets Great Coverage from Energy Trust of Oregon

The Energy Trust of Oregon has released its analysis of the Ecogate project at Brentwood Corp. in Molalla, OR.

The Ecogate system was put in place at Brentwood to expand the capacity of the existing dust collection systems at the Brentwood facility such that the factory could accommodate additional machines. Ecogate accomplished this while simultaneously reducing Brentwood’s electricity use by approximately 1,310,000 kWh annually, which results in annual savings of approximately $86,000.

Plant Engineer Dan Wagner with the Ecogate greenBOX Master controller.

“This is one of the most compelling capital projects we have ever completed because it offers real dollar savings in electricity and is not dependent on changing market or business demands that can diminish the savings of many projects over time. And, the savings started the day the system was commissioned” Dan Wagner Plant Engineering Manager and Maintenance Manager Brentwood Corporation
