Brentwood’s Dan Wagner wins Wrench of the Year Award for Ecogate Project

Each year, the Associate of Energy Engineers Columbia River Chapters gives its prestigious Wrench of the Year award to personnel “working in facility management where their work contributed significantly to energy efficiency improvement during the award year. Winners are involved in day-to-day management of facility operations, efficiency measures or procedures, and their work has demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement in energy efficiency.”

One of the two winners for 2015 is Brentwood Corp’s Plant Engineer Dan Wagner, for his work in spearheading the upgrade of the factory’s dust collection systems to Ecogate On-demand ventilation. The project not only displaced the purchase of an additional dust collector, but also reduced the factory’s electricity use by 58% while improving dust collection.

Congrats, Dan!
